Park Christian School Athletic Club (Falcon Boosters) is a 501(c)(3) and a public charity under section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. This allows for contributions, donations and gifts granted to us to be deductible under section 170 of the code. We are a group of parents, grandparents, sponsors and general supporters of the athletic programs, students and coaches at Park Christian School. Working together, we are making a positive difference to the overall experience for all of the student-athletes at PCS. Your Leaders

The PCS Athletic Club is lead by a Board of ten. Nine of the ten Board members have voting power, whereas the Athletic Director of the school does not - he/she simply acts as a liaison between the school and club. The Board is governed by a set of By Laws drafted, and since amended, by the founding members of the club.

Vision

The vision for the PCS Athletic Club is to be an outstanding Christ-centered educational-athletic school that provides a high-quality experience for every athlete and whereby winning becomes tradition with all sports offered.

Mission

The mission for the PCS Athletic Club is to support and promote the PCS athletic program by cultivating maturity of mind, body and spirit, through the rigorous pursuit of athletic excellence, integrated learning and Christ-centered leadership within the entire community.

Direction

Our direction comes solely from the Lord. Our adapted bible verse comes from the book of Colossians in verses 23 and 24 of the third chapter. In it, Paul tells us "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving".

08-16

August of each year will be "Membership Drive Month". This August will be filled with exciting events to help propel the PCS Athletic Club with its very first membership blitz. Look for your first Falcon Booster Newsletter around the first of August.
05-16

The PCS Athletic Club secures full 501(c)(3) status from the IRS and is now able to accept tax-deductible gifts and donations.
03-16

The PCS Athletic Club met with school Administration and worked through the details for taking over full operation of the Falcon's Nest store. The store will become an integral part of the Club's being and will be incorporated into membership by way of store discounts. Though the Club will make available "take home" inventory at a number of athletic events throughout the school year, the majority of sales are expected to come from its shopping cart presence on the Club's website.

Founding members met with President Kent Hannestad to share vision and need for a fully-functional and sustainable booster club. The school board blessed and supported the move and urged the founding members to bill a Board and incorporate separately.
